Abstrak

Pasien bedah dengan gangguan endokrin memerlukan pertimbangan khusus selama evaluasi perioperatif dan manajemen pascaoperasi. Beberapa gangguan endokrin yang ditemui pada periode perioperatif antara lain penyakit tiroid dan adrenal. Kedua kondisi ini memerlukan persiapan perioperatif yang optimal untuk memastikan tindakan intraoperatif dan pascaoperatif pada pasien berjalan tanpa adanya komplikasi. Persiapan tersebut melibatkan kolaborasi dari berbagai disiplin ilmu kesehatan, mulai dari dokter di layanan primer hingga dokter konsultan di rumah sakit. Pasien dengan gangguan tiroid memerlukan pemeriksaan preoperatif yang cermat untuk mencegah komplikasi berupa badai tiroid yang dapat terjadi selama atau setelah operasi. Hal serupa juga perlu dilakukan pada pasien dengan insufisiensi adrenal. Artikel ini membahas mengenai manajemen perioperatif pada gangguan endokrin, khususnya penyakit tiroid dan adrenal, agar klinisi seperti dokter bedah, dokter anestesi, dan dokter penyakit dalam dapat memberikan pendekatan terapi yang tepat bagi pasien.
